If you had asked me years ago whether I would become an accountant, I may have smiled and said no. My academic journey was in business, but accounting was never the subject that excited me the most.
Yet life has a beautiful way of guiding us back to our roots.
As a child, I often sat beside my grandfather while he worked. He was an accountant, but to the people who came to him, he was much more. He was a trusted advisor, a steady presence, and a source of calm during stressful financial moments. I watched the respect people had for him. I saw how carefully he handled their concerns. And without realizing it, I absorbed the values that defined his work - integrity, patience, and responsibility.
Years later, I understood what I had truly witnessed: accounting is not about numbers. It is about people. It is about protecting someone’s hard work, supporting entrepreneurs who take risks every day, and helping families feel secure about their future.
That understanding inspired me to establish SHE CPA Professional Corporation in 2022. As Founder and Chief Marketing Officer, my vision was to build a firm rooted in strong ethics, technical excellence, and genuine care - a place where every client receives full attention and practical solutions tailored to their needs.
Today, I carry forward the lessons I learned long ago: be honest, be precise, and always put people first.
